Good Afternoon everyone, I thought I would update you with something light and bright to finish the week, perfect Friday afternoon reading.
Do you know a fabulous young dyslexic boy or girl who has achieved great things? If so, listen up!
The BDA is holding its Young Achievers Award again this year to recognise and reward a young dyslexic person (under 25) who has shown outstanding achievement in day-to-day life to help overcome their difficulties.
The prize is a big shiny award that would appeal to the most conservative magpie and an Olympus digital camera!
The winner will be presented with their award at our Members’ Day in June.
The award is open to everyone, you don’t have to be a member of the BDA, but the deadline is the end of next week so get encouraging your friends to apply or you could apply on their behalf.
You can find out more information on how to apply for the Young Achievers Award here: bit.ly/cuOuRj.
Good luck and see you in June!
